How to get there

Road

By road

From the M1 Leave the M1 at Junction 26. Follow the A610 to Nottingham and then A611 (A6002) ​​​​to Hucknall. At the T junction near Morrisons turn left. Turn right at the next mini roundabout following the A611 to Nottingham. The City Hospital is located on the left after you have passed the crossroads at Arnold Lane. Take gate 1 into the hospital. To approach us from the East A46/52 Follow the A52 towards Nottingham, take the Ring Round around the city, cross the River Trent at Clifton Bridge, pass the QMC and University. Continue along the Ring road, go over a humpback bridge and a mile further along is a sports field on the left, at the roundabout turn left into Hucknall Road (A611). The hospital is directly on your right. Take gate 1 into the hospital. To approach from the centre of Nottingham Take the A60, Mansfield Road, out of town past the cemetery on the left. Follow on down to a roundabout, go straight on staying in the left hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights into Hucknall Road (A611). To approach from the North Follow the A60 to Nottingham (on the left) get into the right-hand lane and follow the Ring Road South (A6514). Carry straight on at the first roundabout and turn right at the next roundabout into Hucknall (A611). The hospital is directly your right. Take gate 1 into the hospital.

There is no parking available directly outside. The nearest parking area is on Minster Way (the road leading up from gate 1) or the blue car park near maternity (at the top of Minster Way).

Bus routes serving the hospital are 15, 16, 16C and 17 run by Nottingham City Transport.

Nottingham train station is approximately 3.5 miles from the hospital.

Can I discuss my results? 

We offer a consultation service with GMC registered GPs to discuss your scan results. 


*20% consultation discount will be applied when booked together with your scan.

How much will diagnostic healthcare cost? 

Our diagnostic services start from as little as £75. 

What if I cannot refer myself? 

Self-referral is available in most circumstances. However, in some instances, we may need further clinical information. We will contact you if this is the case. If needed, we offer a virtual GP consultation service where we can provide you with a referral and a follow-up consultation to discuss results.

Can I refer myself? 

We accept self-referral in most cases. Self-referral allows you to take control of your own health with direct access to our own specialist diagnostic services. We also offer a GP consultation service to provide you with a referral if you need one.

When will I get my results? 

We aim to deliver all results within three working days of your appointment. If you have not heard from us within this timeframe, please contact us. 

How long will my appointment take?

It depends on the scan or screening you choose, but most appointments take less than 90 minutes. We ask you to arrive around 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.  

How do I book an appointment?

For most services you can book online or by phone, and you don’t need a GP referral. Choose your service, your preferred location and a convenient date here.
