Poor health can creep up on you, with life-shortening conditions often showing few to no symptoms early on.
But you can get a headstart on better health with a VistaGold Full Body Health Assessment - your comprehensive, in-depth health check.
Armed with detailed insights into your body’s systems, you can take proactive steps to rewrite your future health for the better.
A full body health assessment is a thorough health and wellness check that looks at the health and function of your organs and bones, as well as signs of ill health hidden in your blood.
This can help identify whether you’re at high risk of certain health conditions, such as heart disease, high cholesterol and diabetes, as well as diagnose underlying health conditions that you may not even be aware of as soon as possible.
Through early detection, you can play an active role in getting your health back on track so you can enjoy greater peace of mind.
Your VistaGold Full Body Health Assessment combines targeted blood tests, high-resolution imaging called MRI and expert analysis and insights from our experienced GPs to help you achieve better health.
This means you will get a more complete picture of your health and potential health risks, as well as earlier, more accurate diagnoses of health conditions for tailored treatment.
Your VistaGold Full Body Health Assessment will include:
An MRI scan is an imaging tool that is non-invasive, safe and painless. It does not use radiation and instead uses powerful magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of the inside of your body.
Both men and women will receive MRI scans of key body areas. This includes the:
Abdomen, including the kidneys, liver, spleen, biliary tract, pancreas and gallbladder, as well as lymph nodes and key blood vessels (namely, the aorta that carries oxygen-rich blood away from your heart and the blood vessels that carry oxygen-rich blood to your kidneys)
Brain, both its nerve tissue and blood vessels
Pelvis, which includes the pelvic girdle, muscles and ligaments
Spine, covering its full length (cervical, thoracic, lumbar and coccyx bones) and the nerve tissue that runs through it (spinal cord)
In women, a pelvic MRI scan will also help identify uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, tumours, endometriosis and other abnormalities.
In men, a prostate MRI scan is included too, which can help identify an enlarged prostate, prostate cancer and its spread, prostatitis, abscesses, inflammation and other abnormalities.

You will be sent an at-home pinprick blood test kit. Once complete, you can pop this in the post to our lab where it will be analysed for levels of a protein called CA-125 (cancer antigen 125). Low levels of this protein are found in healthy women; however, raised levels of CA-125 can be a sign of certain types of cancer, including endometrial, fallopian tube, ovarian or peritoneal cancer, as well as other gynaecological conditions, such as uterine fibroids and endometriosis.
You will be sent an at-home pinprick blood test kit to test for levels of a protein called PSA (prostate-specific antigen). Once complete, you can pop the kit in the post to our lab where your PSA levels will be analysed. PSA is present in all men and, with age, levels naturally increase. However, higher than normal levels for your age can indicate a problem with your prostate, such as an enlarged prostate, prostate cancer or an infection (prostatitis), or a problem with your urinary system, namely a urinary tract infection (UTI).
You will be sent an at-home pinprick blood test kit to detect signs of infection, inflammation and other health issues. In addition to a full blood count, this will include testing for the protein HbA1C to check for prediabetes or diabetes alongside testing for your kidney, liver and thyroid function. Your cholesterol and iron levels will also be checked.
This test calculates your risk of cardiovascular disease based on multiple factors, including your blood cholesterol levels, blood pressure, body mass index, age, gender, ethnicity, medical history and lifestyle factors. Together, these datapoints provide a clear idea of whether you need to take steps to better protect the health of your heart and blood vessels.
After your tests, you will receive a full report of your results and have a 40-minute virtual follow-up appointment with one of our expert GPs to discuss your results. They will provide personalised recommendations based on your findings, so you can better understand your health and make informed decisions about any next steps.
